Don’t Let the Holidays WEIGH You Down!

The holidays have the potential to threaten your efforts toward a healthy lifestyle, but the Y supports you in challenging yourself to stay on track during this season.  The goal is to find ways to exercise at least 4 times per week for the next six weeks, with an additional goal to maintain or lose weight: just don’t gain!  DID YOU KNOW?  88% of all U.S. Americans will gain weight from Thanksgiving to New Year’s. 

Join our DASHING ALL THE WEIGH challenge and change the stats!

OBJECTIVE
  • Work out 4 times per week for 5 weeks. Check in to the Y a total of 20 times during the program. 

  • Weigh-in at the beginning and end of the challenge. 

If you lose or maintain your starting weight (JUST DON'T GAIN!) you'll recieve a Dashing all the WEIGH shirt and a YMCA coffee mug.

 

Registration Dates:  November 18th-27th

Challenge Dates:  November 27th-Jan 1st (5 weeks, from the day before Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day)

Cost: $15 for Y Members; $50 for non-members. Non-members receive 5 weeks of access to Y facilities!

 

Weigh-in with a Y staff member the week of November 25th and weigh-out January 1st-3rd (at the completion of the challenge).
