All proceeds benefit the Shop with a Cop Program targeting economically disadvantaged school-aged children nominated by the White County School System. The true essence of the Blue Light Ride lies in its mission to provide underprivileged children in the Sparta area with a memorable Christmas experience, all while fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. Through this event, everyone involved aims to spread joy, goodwill, and hope to those who need it most.
The Blue Light Ride, organized by Marty McFly and led by the Sparta Police Department, symbolizes unity, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to giving back to the community. Each rider participating in this meaningful journey will not only contribute to a brighter future for children in the Sparta area but will also receive a complimentary gift as a token of appreciation for their support.
Marty McFly is a Sparta Native and an award winning 38 year radio personality, who is heard locally each afternoon 3-7pm on 94.7 The Country Giant and on 35 other stations across America. McFly and the Ride Home has been heard on 94.7 The Country Giant for 17 years.
