Personal Training

Key benefits of working with a trainer include the chance to perform effective and innovative cross-training workouts specifically designed to achieve your goals and learn about key exercise principles that can guide you the rest of your life. Your trainer can also help you turn your weaknesses into strengths and provide the necessary accountability, motivation and encouragement you need to succeed.

Personal Trainers

Nina Weston

My name is Nina Weston and I have been a member of the YMCA team for over 8 years. I am currently
Fitness and Wellness Director, Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Adaptive Fitness
Coach, Special Olympics Powerlifting Coach, Group Fitness & Aquatics Instructor, Adaptive Swim
Instructor and NASM Nutrition Coach. I have worked with those with Special Needs for over 6 years and
am currently working on obtaining Arthritis and Cancer Specialist Certification. I currently work with all
fitness levels and ages 13 and over in the personal training spectrum.

I have not always been healthy. A friend started taking me to her gym in my late 30’s and I fell in love
with fitness. I then started to realize that I wanted to teach fitness and was offered a position at our
YMCA. I love working at our YMCA and I love the sense of community. I started teaching group fitness at
44 years old and became a trainer at 47 years old. I wanted to become healthier and start helping others
and showing individuals that you can achieve this at any age. I have been overweight and underweight.
But now I approach fitness as being comfortable in my own skin through nutrition and exercise. I can
help you become a better athlete or just help you increase endurance, ADL’s and help you create a
healthier lifestyle.

Julie Bradley

Hi, I’m Julie, and I’m so excited to join this personal training team! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health and Wellness in 2020. While in college, I competed in Cross-Country and Track & Field. This gave me firsthand experience in training, discipline, and athletic performance. I’ve worked as a personal trainer, coaching clients one-on-one, led team trainings for youth sports programs, and been part of an athletic training team specializing in injury management. I’ve coached a wide range of fitness levels, from beginners just starting their journey to athletes during their peak of competition. I am continuing to challenge myself through CrossFit and half-marathon races, which have helped build my own strength and endurance while expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients. My goal is to design training that meets you where you are, helps you reach where you want to be, and have fun along the way. Let’s get moving!

Bryson Cole

My name is Bryson Cole, and I am proudly from Sparta/White County. I graduated from Maryville College with a degree in Outdoor Studies and Tourism, where I also competed as a collegiate athlete. I am thrilled to combine my passion for fitness and my background in athletics as a personal trainer.

Spencer Wiest

Hello, my name is Spencer Wiest. I am 34 years old, and I have three beautiful daughters and a beautiful wife. To say that fitness was a tool God used to transform my life is an understatement! Essentially, I started exercising in my teens for various sport-related endeavors. However, I never truly understood proper form, nutrition, or the host of physiological and cognitive benefits involved in routine exercise until adulthood. Now in my mid-30s, exercise is more important than ever for longevity. My specialty and focus is hypertrophy training (resistance training to build muscle). I also routinely incorporate 5k runs into my personal fitness goals because the vast cardiovascular benefits are astounding! Whether your goal is to build muscle and endurance like me or you simply want to fit into that pair of jeans that have been in your closet from last Christmas, I am here to help you reach your fitness goals with experience, research-backed programming, and a motivational attitude! Fitness changed my life, and I want to help my clients unlock the vast benefits from exercise that can change them physically, mentally, and spiritually!
